Fortunes Flame by XavierSt33l

Format: Commander

Commander: Yusri, Fortune's Flame

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a combo-leaning Izzet 'luck' deck built around Yusri, Fortune's Flame. The commander attacks to draw cards and eventually cast spells for free, but the real finish is assembling Krark's Thumb with Frenetic Efreet and Chance Encounter. Stacking many free Efreet activations creates ten luck counters almost immediately, and the deck wins on the following upkeep. Secondary paths include Laboratory Maniac after massive draw, Okaun/Zndrsplt doubling/drawing into treasures, and Niv-Mizzet/Psychosis Crawler burn. The hidden commander is effectively the Okaun/Zndrsplt partner pair, which provides an on-board flip engine independent of Yusri. Ral, Monsoon Mage's two faces offer a flexible cost-reducer/planeswalker that can take extra turns.
