Commander: Kratos, God of War

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red goad-and-voltron hybrid helmed by Kratos, God of War, who punishes opponents for not attacking while granting your whole board haste. The deck's two interlocking plans are: (1) force the table into combat with a dense goad suite - Disrupt Decorum, Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer, Bothersome Quasit, Vengeful Ancestor - so opponents bleed each other while Kratos's end-step trigger taxes every non-attacker; and (2) suit Kratos up with equipment and stack multiplicative damage effects - Fiery Emancipation, City on Fire, Inquisitor's Flail, Embercleave - to one-shot with commander damage through his native double strike. Secondary burn lines run through Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. The deck wins by voltron elimination or by goading the table into killing itself.
