Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Voltron strategy centered on Arna Kennerüd, Skycaptain. The primary goal is to accelerate into Arna by turn 4, attach high-impact Auras or Equipment, and attack on turn 5. When Arna attacks while modified, her ability doubles all counters and creates token copies of every attached nontoken permanent. This duplication causes power-boosting cards like All That Glitters, Battle Mastery, and Sage's Reverie to scale exponentially with every swing. The deck protects its commander using built-in Ward, Swiftfoot Boots, Champion's Helm, and recursion auras like Kaya's Ghostform. Efficient interaction, including Swords to Plowshares, Void Rend, and Counterspell, disrupts opposing win attempts, while Winds of Rath acts as a one-sided board wipe. Opponents are eliminated sequentially through massive flying commander damage, typically closing out the game by turn 7.
