Commander: Kalamax, the Stormsire

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Temur spellslinger-storm combo deck built around Kalamax, the Stormsire. The primary plan is to tap Kalamax, copy a ritual with his triggered ability, then multiply spells with Prismari, Thousand-Year Storm, Alania, or Double Vision to generate enormous mana and storm count. Finishers include a kicked Comet Storm, Explosion, Chandra's Ignition on a grown Kalamax, or Aetherflux Reservoir. Secondary routes use Niv-Mizzet, Parun draw-ping, Exalted Flamer/Sorcerer Class damage, and commander beats. The deck has many overlapping engines but depends on assembling a few specific pieces; its low land count and tempo-oriented mana make it fast but fragile.
