Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive tribal aristocrats engine that leverages the Eminence mechanic to generate an overwhelming board of Vampire tokens without spending extra mana. By deploying low-cost Vampires on the earliest turns, the deck rapidly establishes a wide presence that triggers value engines like Skullclamp and Welcoming Vampire. As the game transitions into the midgame, the deck capitalizes on this swarm using anthem lords, unblockable group drain effects like Sanctum Seeker and Malakir Bloodwitch, and damage multipliers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz. It maintains resilience against removal by utilizing death triggers such as Elenda, the Dusk Rose and Blood Artist, while also holding a compact game-ending combo in Exquisite Blood paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond. The result is a fast, consistent, and lethal go-wide combat deck with potent reach.
