Deck overview

This Esper deck uses Queza, Augur of Agonies to turn card draw into a direct damage and lifegain engine. The early game focuses on deploying mana rocks and establishing defensive deterrents like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison to control combat pressure. Incremental draw engines like Teferi's Ageless Insight, Talion, the Kindly Lord, and Mystic Remora sustain hand size while draining opponents' life totals. The deck's primary victory route pairs Queza with Lich's Mastery, turning any card draw into a self-sustaining loop that draws through the library and drains all opponents to zero life. As a secondary win condition, the deck features the two-card infinite combo of Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank, alongside potent wheel synergies with Notion Thief and Jace's Archivist. The deck balances combo velocity, passive life-drain attrition, and stack interaction.
