Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and value strategy centered on Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. Its core game plan involves accelerating into Yennett by turn 4 or 5 while using topdeck manipulation tools such as Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Doom Whisperer to ensure the top card of the library has an odd mana value. Once Yennett attacks, she cheats devastating high-mana threats directly onto the battlefield, notably Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse. The deck supports this game plan with flexible removal spells, asymmetric board wipes like Extinction Event and Promise of Loyalty, and secondary value engines like Marvo, Deep Operative. While it generates immense board pressure once an odd-cost bomb resolves, it relies heavily on Yennett surviving without native haste or hexproof.
