Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos group-slug and forced-combat archetype commanded by Kardur, Doomscourge. Its central game plan revolves around casting Kardur to force opposing armies into mutual annihilation while siphoning life via Kardur's death triggers. Supported by redundant goad effects such as Disrupt Decorum, Geode Rager, and Vengeful Ancestor, the deck redirects incoming aggression toward other players to whittle down total life totals. Mid-game card advantage is sustained through burst draw spells like Syphon Mind and Ambition's Cost, while defensive deterrents like Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs and Brash Taunter disincentivize counterattacks. In the late game, the deck attempts to close out remaining low-life opponents using damage doublers like Dictate of the Twin Gods, asymmetric reanimation via Sepulchral Primordial, and punishing attrition engines like Kaervek the Merciless or Magmatic Force.
