Yidris Theft - Sans White by chirgelt

Format: Commander

Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder is the cascade linchpin of a four-color midrange deck that combines tempo theft with big-spell chains. The primary plan is to ramp into Yidris, grant him haste or unblockability, connect once, then use the resulting cascade triggers to chain into card draw, mana, and stolen spells. The secondary path is a theft/value plan built around Don Andres, Gonti, Prosper, Etali, and Dominus of Fealty, stealing permanents and casting opponents' cards. The finisher is usually Insurrection (or a big Mutinous Massacre turn) after the board is developed. The hidden commander is Don Andres, the Renegade, who turns stolen creatures into a lethal, treasure-generating army.
