Deck overview

This list is an Izzet Spellslinger Storm deck centered around Vivi Ornitier. The game plan revolves around leveraging Vivi's noncreature spell trigger alongside damage-based card draw engines such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, each cheap cantrip or ritual draws three cards, fueling an uninterrupted storm turn. The deck accelerates through early artifact ramp and rituals, assembling Vivi and a draw Aura by turn 4. Once the storm sequence initiates, Vivi generates a massive burst of mana with its activated ability, chaining dozens of spells to burn opponents out directly or transition into an Underworld Breach finish. The list features a dense suite of cheap stack interaction and counterspells to defend the combo attempt, but runs no stax pieces and is vulnerable to well-timed creature removal before the storm chain establishes momentum.
