Deck overview

This Sultai (BUG) +1/+1 counters deck leverages the partner commanders Cazur, Ruthless Stalker and Ukkima, Stalking Shadow to turn combat damage into exponential growth. Cazur puts a +1/+1 counter on each creature that deals combat damage, building a snowballing board, while Ukkima is an unblockable threat whose leave-the-battlefield trigger can finish opponents. The primary win condition is Simic Ascendancy, which wins the game once it accumulates twenty growth counters-a condition accelerated by the deck's dense counter doublers (Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider) and proliferate effects (Evolution Sage, Thrummingbird, Tezzeret's Gambit). Secondary paths include commander damage from an oversized Ukkima or overwhelming beats from a swarm of creatures with +1/+1 counters made unblockable by Herald of Secret Streams. The deck relies on a smooth curve of ramp, counter engines, and combat triggers, but it lacks a fast combo finish and is vulnerable to board wipes that reset its counter investment.
