Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Vampire tribal strategy commanded by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The primary plan focuses on dealing early chip damage to opponents on turns 1 through 3 to manufacture Blood tokens. Once Strefan enters on turn 4, it attacks on turn 5 and sacrifices two Blood tokens to cheat massive, high-impact Vampires like Olivia's Attendants, Bloodthirsty Conqueror, and Olivia, Crimson Bride directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. The deck supplements its flying combat pressure with punishing passive drain and attrition enchantments such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Painful Quandary, and Mogis, God of Slaughter. Because the list runs virtually no fast mana rocks and minimal stack protection, it plays at standard land speed and relies on Blood token rummaging to smooth draws. It consistently eliminates the table through combat and life drain around turn 8.
