Orvar, the All-Form by LJ.FourFoldMaster

Format: Commander

Commander: Orvar, the All-Form

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Orvar, the All-Form is the engine of a mono-blue permanent-copy deck: every cheap targeted instant/sorcery becomes a land ramp spell, a creature doubler, or a combo piece. The primary line is to use Orvar to copy Islands early, then loop Peregrine Drake with a buyback spell such as Mind Games or Clockspinning. Once the loop is online it creates infinite mana and infinite Drake tokens; the deck wins the following combat. Sakashima of a Thousand Faces can act as a hidden second Orvar, and a Ghostly Flicker/Archaeomancer package provides a backup infinite-mana engine. Hullbreaker Horror and counterspells protect the assembly and clear blockers before the token army attacks.
