Dragon by Hellzpyro

Format: Commander

Commander: Morophon, the Boundless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by Morophon, the Boundless, built to cheat the format's most expensive creature type into play cheaply and win through overwhelming combat. The core plan is to ramp early, deploy cost reducers like Dragonlord's Servant, Dragonspeaker Shaman, and Goblin Anarchomancer, then cast Morophon to discount every Dragon by {W}{U}{B}{R}{G}. From there the deck floods the board with legendary Dragons - Tiamat to tutor five, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm to copy them, Lathliss, Dragon Queen to make tokens - and closes with double strike from Atarka, World Render and Terror of Mount Velus, doubled damage from Gratuitous Violence, and extra combats from Hellkite Charger fueled by Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient or Savage Ventmaw. A backup alternate win sits in Call the Spirit Dragons. It is a classic big-mana battlecruiser: slow to develop, devastating once the engine turns on.
