Deck overview

This is a mono-black combo/stall deck built around Doctor Doom, Unrivaled. The primary plan is to use life as a payment to draw and dig-Doom's tap, Necropotence, Ad Nauseam, Peer into the Abyss-while No Mercy, Darkness, and a wall of targeted removal buy time. The finisher is Doom's library-empty trigger, usually enabled by Leveler or by infinite self-mill from Basalt Monolith + Mesmeric Orb, with Grindstone + Painter's Servant able to mill opponents instead. Exsanguinate and Aetherflux Reservoir give slower grind wins, and Baron Helmut Zemo offers a copy-spell storm route. No hidden commander exists; every line points to Doom, but the artifact engines are real backup paths.
