Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis tribal midrange build centered around Be'lakor, the Dark Master. The overarching strategy revolves around developing mana acceleration in the early turns, casting Be'lakor on Turn 5 to refill the hand, and subsequently deploying massive Demon threats that trigger direct burn via Be'lakor's passive ability. High-impact threats like Archfiend of Despair, Bloodthirster, and Warstorm Surge convert high power into immediate table-wide lethality. The deck also incorporates an extensive reanimation package—including Living Death, Bloodline Bidding, and Animate Dead—which bypasses the steep casting costs of high-end Demons and provides robust recovery following board wipes. While vulnerable to early aggro and well-timed countermagic due to its high average mana value, the deck presents overwhelming aerial beatdown and unavoidable burn once its board state takes hold.
