Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir flash-tempo build piloted by Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The strategy revolves around passing the turn with open mana, casting instant-speed interaction during opponents' turns, and triggering Alela to generate a steady swarm of 1/1 flying Faerie Rogue tokens. As these Faeries deal combat damage, they trigger Alela's goad ability, forcing the most threatening enemy creatures into combat with other players. Card draw engines like Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Wavebreak Hippocamp ensure a steady stream of counterspells and removal spells to keep the board under control. The deck closes games around Turn 9 through evasive aerial beatdown, amplified by tribal lords such as Glen Elendra Liege, Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, and the game-ending dragon transformation from Shadow Puppeteers. The list features high reactive interaction and plan shielding, making it resilient in interactive mid-power multiplayer pods.
