New Untitled Deck by Fitz825

Format: Commander

Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Black Waltz No. 3 is a Rakdos spellslinger list that turns every noncreature spell into chip damage. The commander gives a baseline 2 damage to each opponent, and the deck multiplies it with Firebrand Archer, Guttersnipe, and Wizard tokens from Cornered by Black Mages, Mysidian Elder, and Kuja. Kuja acts as the hidden commander: once four Wizards are on the battlefield it transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage and turning a few cheap spells into a kill. Secondary routes include Chandra's emblems, Kefka's free graveyard spells, and a Bearer of the Heavens reset. The deck is interactive on the board, fast enough to threaten by turns 7-8, and heavily rewards assembling multiple pingers before going off.
