Deck overview

This list is a competitive Rakdos Turbo combo deck built around fast mana, proactive win conditions, and Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin as an incidental card-advantage engine. The deck focuses on accelerating into early game-ending plays on Turns 2 to 3, leveraging Underworld Breach loops with Lion's Eye Diamond and Grinding Station, or resolving an early Ad Nauseam. It also supports an infinite creature-token loop using Dualcaster Mage and Molten Duplication. While the commander synergizes exceptionally well with pingers like Orcish Bowmasters, Kessig Flamebreather, and Razorkin Needlehead to draw through the deck whenever opponents take 1 damage, the deck does not rely on Ob Nixilis to win. Robust plan protection—including Defense Grid, Vexing Bauble, and redirection spells like Deflecting Swat—ensures combo turns can push through opposing countermagic, making it an explosive and resilient competitive threat.
