Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos spellslinger and burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The deck focuses on assembling a critical mass of Wizards and noncreature pingers to rapidly transform Kuja into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. Once transformed, Kuja doubles all damage dealt by Wizards, turning every cheap instant, sorcery, and artifact into an amplified table-wide burn spell. High-velocity mana acceleration from cards like Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, and Sol Ring enables early commander deployment, while massive card engines such as Bolas's Citadel, Necropotence, and The One Ring provide the fuel necessary to storm through spells in a single turn. Redundant damage multipliers and uncounterable protection from Hexing Squelcher ensure consistent damage output without relying on infinite combos. The deck maintains active board interaction through efficient, free, or low-cost removal spells like Deadly Rollick and Deflecting Swat while racing toward a decisive burn finish around Turn 6.
