Elrond Blinkers by angel.ng

Format: Commander

Commander: Elrond of the White Council

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic value-and-combat build centered on Elrond of the White Council, using the secret-council vote to steal opposing creatures or pump the board with +1/+1 counters. The deck layers three overlapping engines: Elf/creature ramp, +1/+1 counter magnification via Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and The Earth Crystal, and repeatable blink effects in Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, and Displacer Kitten to re-trigger Elrond, Cirdan the Shipwright, and other ETB value. The primary win condition is a massive single-turn combat swing powered by Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, or Overwhelming Stampede, often made unblockable by Herald of Secret Streams. It is a midrange deck that seeks to out-value three opponents, then end with one overwhelming attack step.
