Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mardu combat-cheat and reanimation strategy led by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary objective is to accelerate Kaalia onto the battlefield on Turn 2 or 3, give her haste through equipment or haste-enabling lands, and attack immediately to put massive Angels, Demons, or Dragons directly into play tapped and attacking. The deck leverages devastating high-end threats like Sire of Insanity, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Razaketh, the Foulblooded, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to dismantle opposing resources and establish overwhelming board dominance. A robust reanimation package featuring Entomb, Reanimate, and Animate Dead, alongside Sneak Attack, provides a resilient secondary game plan that bypasses commander dependency. Supported by 0-mana interaction like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick, the deck aggressively pressures the entire table, eliminating opponents across two combat cycles through concentrated aerial damage and extra attack phases.
