The Toolbox by Buddadragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a mid-range "Jund 'em Out" strategy helmed by Henzie "Toolbox" Torre, focusing on the Blitz mechanic to cheat out high-impact creatures for reduced costs. The primary game plan is to cast Henzie early and chain high-mana-value creatures with powerful Enter-the-Battlefield (ETB) or Death triggers. By using Blitz, the deck ensures a constant flow of cards while pressuring life totals with haste. The strategy leverages recursion engines like Chainer, Nightmare Adept and Riveteers Ascendancy to repeatedly loop threats. Victory is typically achieved through overwhelming combat damage from heavy hitters like Etali, Primal Storm and Inferno Titan, or through drain/burn effects from Stalking Vengeance and Ziatora, the Incinerator. The deck excels at maintaining a full hand and a dangerous graveyard, making it a persistent threat in the mid-to-late game.
