Tiamat and the Gang by user4996327

Format: Commander

Commander: Tiamat

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Tiamat is a five-color Dragon toolbox deck that uses its commander to tutor five Dragons directly to hand, then deploys a critical mass of flying Dragons with anthem, haste, and damage-trigger effects to close out games. The primary plan is ramp into Tiamat, collect the best Dragons, then chain them out with cost reducers and mana rocks. Secondary paths include Dragon token generation from Lathliss, Dragonmaster Outcast, and Sarkhan Vol, plus the alternate win condition of Call the Spirit Dragons. The deck is built to use Tiamat's front face as a tutor engine; there is no back face. The hidden commander is effectively Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, since copying every nontoken Dragon doubles all enter triggers and combat damage.
