Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Dwarf tribal combat deck led by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. The strategy focuses on curving out low-cost Dwarf creatures and Equipment during the early turns to build board presence and achieve the Storied mechanic. Once Thorin enters the battlefield, every Dwarf generates Treasure tokens, which fuel a massive team-wide power boost across the entire board. Mid-game turns leverage heavy combat damage, non-combat burn triggers from Dáin of the Ancient Halls and Smaug the Magnificent, and traditional anthems like Coat of Arms to overwhelm opponents in combat. While the deck boasts high synergy and explosive combat steps, it relies heavily on maintaining a wide creature board and keeping Treasure tokens intact, leaving it vulnerable to mass sweepers and targeted removal against its commander.
