Ovika, Enigma Goliath low mana cost

Format: Commander

Commander: Ovika, Enigma Goliath

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ovika, Enigma Goliath leads a low-to-the-ground Izzet spellslinger deck built to chain noncreature spells into a hasty goblin tide. The primary plan is to set up a token engine (Young Pyromancer, Talrand, Third Path Iconoclast), land Ovika by turns 5-6, then use draw/treasure spells to make 20+ hasty 1/1s and finish with Surge to Victory or Aria of Flame. Secondary paths include pinger/burn damage from Thermo-Alchemist and Electrostatic Field, and copy-storm via Thousand-Year Storm and Double Vision. Ovika is a force multiplier and haste enabler rather than a hard requirement; the closest thing to a hidden commander is the token-maker suite that carries the game when Ovika is unavailable.
