Token Copy Ghired by user9697750

Format: Commander

Commander: Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds turns every nontoken creature into a token copier. The deck looks to create a token that entered this turn, then use an untap-on-creature-enter creature such as Sunstrike Legionnaire or Midnight Guard to copy that token endlessly. Splinter Twin and Kiki-Jiki provide the same haste-token burst as secondary, commander-free routes. Exalted Sunborn, Doubling Season, and Parallel Lives multiply each token. Win lines are usually infinite haste tokens for combat; Agate Instigator or Terror of the Peaks turn non-haste loops into ETB damage. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built to use Ghired's copy-granting face as the central engine, with the untappers as the true combo partners.
