Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy tempo aggro-control deck commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary strategy deploys cheap, evasive 0- and 1-drop creatures on the first turn, enabling Yuriko to enter via commander ninjutsu on Turn 2. Because commander ninjutsu bypasses both standard countermagic and the commander tax, Yuriko provides continuous card flow and direct damage to all opponents whenever a Ninja connects. The deck converts card advantage into table-wide burn by stacking high-mana-value delve and split spells—such as Dig Through Time, Treasure Cruise, and Commit // Memory—onto the top of the library using Lim-Dûl's Vault, Brainstorm, and Sensei's Divining Top. Backed by efficient, low-cost counterspells and removal like Snuff Out, the deck protects its board, disrupts opposing win conditions, and rapidly burns down the entire table simultaneously by Turn 6.
