Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed mono-black combo deck built around Trazyn the Infinite and Necrotic Ooze. The primary objective is to entomb Phyrexian Devourer and Triskelion or Walking Ballista into the graveyard, then deploy an ability conduit to deal lethal direct damage to all opponents at instant speed. Backed by format-ceiling acceleration like Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, and Moxen, the deck consistently achieves critical setup by Turn 3. Universal tutors such as Buried Alive provide single-card combo assembly, while Ad Nauseam, Bolas's Citadel, and Necropotence offer overwhelming card advantage if the initial attempt is delayed. Defense Grid and Imp's Mischief protect combo windows from countermagic. While highly resilient against creature removal, the deck's primary vulnerabilities lie in dedicated graveyard exile and activated ability suppression.
