Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis tribal aristocrats deck helmed by Wick, the Whorled Mind. Built on a foundation of 25 interchangeable copies of Rat Colony and Relentless Rats, the deck develops wide, scaling boards with extreme consistency. Each Rat cast triggers Wick to grow a central Snail token, which can then be sacrificed via Wick's activated ability to deal direct damage equal to its power to each opponent while drawing an equivalent number of cards. The deck accelerates through early artifact ramp and Three Tree City, transitioning into explosive mid-game turns utilizing power-doubling spells like Unleash Fury and Bulk Up or lethal poison application through Tainted Strike. It also carries an Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze storm line for alternative table kills, backed by a compact counterspell suite to defend its critical execution windows.
