Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Voltron strategy powered by the partner pairing of Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist. Rograkh provides a zero-mana commander with built-in combat keywords (first strike, trample, and menace), while Ardenn bypasses steep equip costs by attaching Equipment directly to Rograkh at the beginning of combat. By dropping heavy Equipment like Colossus Hammer or Hulkbuster Armor on early turns and casting Ardenn on Turn 3, the deck presents an immediate double-digit commander damage threat. The 99 is filled with redundant Equipment, cheap protection spells, and efficient spot removal to safeguard its board. While vulnerable to mass exile and repeated removal across the three response cycles needed to defeat three opponents, the deck applies immense early pressure and forces the table to respect its rapid clock.
