Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters strategy commanded by Zimone, Paradox Sculptor. It focuses on deploying early creatures, generating counters, and exponentially doubling them through Zimone's activated ability and a dense suite of counter multipliers such as Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, and Innkeeper's Talent. Once creatures swell to massive proportions, evasion enablers like Kodama of the West Tree and Emil, Vastlands Roamer push through lethal trampling combat damage. Alternate win conditions like Simic Ascendancy and Twenty-Toed Toad provide non-combat paths to victory. While the deck lacks fast mana and dedicated tutors, its high internal redundancy and mana-scaling creatures ensure steady mid-game growth. Reactive protection and counterspells help maintain board presence against targeted disruption, aiming to close the game across successive combat steps between Turns 6 and 8.
