Deck overview

This Naya midrange deck uses Rocco, Street Chef to turn cards played from exile into a compounding engine of +1/+1 counters and Food tokens. The deck curves into early utility creatures and counter amplifiers like Hardened Scales and Botanical Brawler, then casts Rocco on Turn 3 to begin exiling cards for every player. On Turn 4 and beyond, playing exiled cards triggers steady power growth and token production. The deck leverages artifact payoffs such as Academy Manufactor, Baylen, the Haymaker, and Night of the Sweets' Revenge for mana acceleration and card draw. Once the creature board is sufficiently tall and wide, evasion enablers like Abzan Falconer and overrun effects like Blossoming Bogbeast close the game through overwhelming combat damage, backed by targeted burn from Shalai and Hallar.
