Deck overview

This Sultai deck adapts the classic 60-card 'Oops! All Spells' archetype to Commander by replacing standard land slots with 25 Modal Double-Faced Cards (MDFCs) and a minimal package of 3 basic lands. The primary game plan accelerates quickly using 1-drop mana creatures, Sol Ring, and Dark Ritual to assemble a game-ending win on Turn 4. The primary route casts Thassa's Oracle and exiles the library in response using Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact. Alternatively, casting Mana Severance exiles all remaining land cards, turning Balustrade Spy, Undercity Informer, or Hermit Druid into full-library mill engines that flashback Dread Return targeting Thassa's Oracle. With dense top-tier tutoring and efficient 1-mana counterspell protection, the deck races to an immediate 0-response-cycle victory while largely bypassing the combat step entirely.
