Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jund Aristocrats and token swarm strategy helmed by Xira, the Golden Sting. It focuses on generating large numbers of 1/1 flying Insect tokens through Xira's egg counters, self-mill triggers, and dedicated token creators like Scute Swarm, Hornet Queen, and Izoni, Thousand-Eyed. The deck converts these tokens into card advantage using Skullclamp, Species Specialist, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. It finishes games around Turn 6 by executing mass reanimation with Living Death or Patriarch's Bidding and sacrificing its swarm to Goblin Bombardment or Altar of Dementia while Aatchik, Emerald Radian, Syr Konrad, the Grim, and Bastion of Remembrance drain opponents out in a single turn. The deck demonstrates exceptional recovery against board wipes because its graveyard acts as an extended hand. Its main limitations are a complete absence of stack countermagic and a vulnerability to rest-in-peace style graveyard exile effects.
