Commander: Rivaz of the Claw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rivaz of the Claw leads a Rakdos Dragon reanimator deck. The primary plan ramps with cost reducers and rocks, then uses Rivaz to add two mana for Dragons and cast one Dragon from the graveyard each turn. You build a board of large flyers and win through combat, amplified by enter-the-battlefield damage from Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest. Secondary paths generate Treasure and cards with Ganax, Bonehoard Dracosaur, Atsushi and Dragon's Hoard, and grind value with Animate Dead and Bladewing the Risen. Rivaz is ramp and recursion, not a combo piece. Lathliss, Dragon Queen acts as a hidden commander, turning each Dragon into a 5/5 token army. Bladewing the Risen + Molten Echoes + Saw in Half offers a fragile 12+ mana loop.
