Deck overview

This deck harnesses The Wise Mothman to execute a hybrid strategy of +1/+1 counter beatdown, incidental mill, and rad counter attrition. By curving efficient ramp into an early commander deployment, the deck distributes rad counters to all players. As cards are milled during upkeeps and main phases, Mothman steadily distributes +1/+1 counters across your board. Counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Corpsejack Menace quickly transform your commander and utility creatures into lethal threats. Meanwhile, card draw engines like Pollywog Prodigy and Terrasymbiosis keep your hand replenished. Strong protection spells shield your board from sweepers, while cheap reanimation spells ensure rapid recovery from disruption. The deck closes games through overwhelming evasive commander damage and combat pressure within two turn cycles of establishing its board.
