Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius spellslinger control strategy led by Zethi, Arcane Blademaster. The game plan revolves around casting inexpensive cantrips, interaction, and protection spells during the opening turns to sculpt the hand and populate the graveyard. Once sufficient setup exists, Zethi enters with multikicker to exile key instants with kick counters. Each time Zethi attacks, she copies and casts all of these exiled cards without paying their mana costs, creating compounding value every combat step. This recurring spellcast engine rapidly triggers token generators such as Monastery Mentor and Kykar, Zephyr Awakener, draws massive cards via Vega, the Watcher and Archmage Emeritus, and continuously protects the board with recursive defensive spells. The deck closes games by overwhelming the table with prowess-boosted token swarms amplified by Akroma's Will or Leonin Lightscribe, with alternate win routes available through an Isochron Scepter infinite mana loop or Approach of the Second Sun.
