Deck overview

This Selesnya Enchantress deck is commanded by Calix, Guided by Fate and focuses on rapid Voltron aggression and permanent multiplication. The game plan centers on deploying low-cost enchantments and ramp in the opening turns, casting Calix on turn 3, and enchanting him or an evasive creature with high-scaling Auras like All That Glitters, Rancor, or Strength of the Harvest. Once Calix connects in combat on turn 4, his triggered ability clones a nonlegendary enchantment, rapidly multiplying stat bonuses and triggering constellation for snowballing +1/+1 counters. The deck reaches a critical must-answer state on turn 5, presenting lethal commander damage that can eliminate opponents in succession by turn 7. Supporting pieces like Sterling Grove, Benevolent Blessing, and Umbra armor protect the centerpiece against targeted removal. While lacking fast mana and stack countermagic, the deck compensates with dense functional redundancy, resilient token copying via Yenna, Redtooth Regent, and versatile permanent removal.
