Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combat mill strategy commanded by The Mindskinner. The game plan revolves around leveraging the commander's unique replacement effect: preventing its massive 10 unblockable combat damage to force every opponent to mill an equivalent number of cards simultaneously. By augmenting the commander with double strike and power-boosting equipment such as Fireshrieker, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, and Genji Glove, the deck accelerates its clock to mill 20 to 40 cards per swing across the entire table. Because aggressive milling can inadvertently empower opposing graveyard strategies, the list runs dedicated anti-graveyard tools like Grafdigger's Cage, Soulless Jailer, and Lantern of the Lost to seal off recursion lines. A resilient shell of low-cost countermagic and phasing protection shields the fragile 1-toughness commander from removal, steadily depleting opposing libraries over three combat rotations to secure victory.
