Deck overview

This is an Orzhov Aura-voltron deck helmed by Killian, Decisive Mentor that aims to control the board through goad effects while building an overwhelming board of enchanted creatures. The strategy leverages Killian's enchantment-ETB trigger to tap and goad a target creature each time an Aura enters, disrupting opponents' combat plans. Simultaneously, attack triggers from enchanted creatures draw cards, fueling more Aura deployment. The deck uses a dense enchantment package - including goad Auras, protection Auras (Spirit Mantle, Shielded by Faith), and removal Auras (Darksteel Mutation, Chains of Custody) - to render opponents' creatures ineffective. Recurrence engines like Replenish and Gift of Immortality ensure resilience. The primary win condition is combat damage from a highly buffed Killian, Decisive Mentor or other creatures, supported by token generators such as Archon of Sun's Grace. There are no infinite combos; inevitability comes from continuous value accumulation and board control.
