Deck overview

This is a Golgari Snake tribal midrange deck helmed by Aphelia, Viper Whisperer. The plan is to flood the board with deathtouch Snakes, leverage tribal anthems and token doublers, then close through multiple overlapping kill vectors: Aphelia's activated half-life drain on combat damage, Fynn, the Fangbearer poison, and life-loss multipliers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Wound Reflection. Aphelia is a cheap, sticky engine that both produces Snake tokens on attack and provides a repeatable table-wide finisher, but she is not a hard lock on the strategy-Fynn poison, Rottenmouth Viper, go-wide combat under Coat of Arms/Seshiro the Anointed, and edict pressure from The Serpent Society all function without her. The deck mixes efficient dorks, Cradle/Nykthos mana, and modest tutors to assemble a lethal deathtouch board by the midgame.
