Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon, leveraging its eminence cost reduction and powerful attack trigger to overwhelm opponents with a swarm of high-impact dragons. The primary game plan involves ramping into early dragons, deploying The Ur-Dragon, then using its attack trigger to draw cards and cheat permanents into play. Extra combat effects from Hellkite Charger and Scourge of the Throne can chain into a single-turn kill, while value engines like Kindred Discovery and Guardian Project keep the hand full. The deck wins through massive combat damage, with backup from Dragon Tempest pings and Terror of the Peaks triggers. It is a classic battlecruiser strategy with a high ceiling but moderate consistency.
