KuJa by user3305642

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck executes a Rakdos spellslinger and token burn strategy led by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The primary game plan develops a board of Wizard tokens generated by Kuja, Black Mage's Rod, Mysidian Elder, and Lindblum, Industrial Regency. Once you control four Wizards, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage. From there, casting a flurry of low-cost noncreature spells triggers multiple Wizard burn pings that each deal doubled damage to all opponents simultaneously. The deck finishes the table through noncombat life drain amplified by spell doublers like Summon: G.F. Cerberus and mass recursion via overloaded Mizzix's Mastery.
