DeckCheck Threat Index: 37

Deck overview

This mono-red deck leverages Vaan, Street Thief alongside low-cost Scouts, Pirates, and Rogues to establish early board presence and generate card and mana advantage through combat damage. By connecting with evasive attackers, the deck steals opponents' spells to cast with Treasure mana while buffing its team with +1/+1 counters. Mid-game transitions rely on high-impact threats like Port Razer, Goldspan Dragon, and Coercive Recruiter to overwhelm life totals across multiple combat phases. The deck features strong single-target redirection spells to protect its commander, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and resolved enchantments.
