Deck overview

This Bant (GWU) deck is a tap/untap and +1/+1 counter synergy engine helmed by The Fifth Doctor and Susan Foreman. The core strategy revolves around creatures that trigger when they become tapped - drawing cards, looting, ramping, or removing threats - and then untapping them via the Doctor's end-step ability or other untap effects like Prop Room and Captain America, Living Legend. The deck leverages a high density of Vehicles that are crewed by these tapped creatures, turning them into flying, trampling threats that generate additional card advantage. The primary win condition is incremental combat damage from large Vehicles and creatures with counters, with Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought as a potential one-shot finisher once it accumulates 20+ charge counters. The deck also includes a Planechase subtheme via Susan Foreman's planeswalk ability and TARDIS.
