Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elfball deck helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves, built around an aggressive creature-token engine. The plan is to deploy cheap Elf druids, turn Lathril's combat damage into an ever-growing army of 1/1 Elf Warriors, and then use that army for mana, lords, and table-wide drain. Combat is the primary finish, often supercharged by Elvish Promenade, Elven Ambush, Second Harvest, and End-Raze Forerunners. The deck also has a strong non-combat axis through Lathril's activated drain, Shaman of the Pack, Skemfar Shadowsage, and Poison-Tip Archer. It is a straightforward, creature-centric strategy with good redundancy in elves and mana dorks, but very little stack interaction. The commander is the best engine in the deck, though enough other token producers exist for the deck to keep functioning at reduced speed if she is answered.
