Deck overview

This deck is a classic four-color Superfriends control strategy piloted by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. The game plan revolves around deploying high-impact planeswalkers, protecting them behind defensive taxation and Atraxa's formidable combat stats, and steadily accelerating their loyalty through end-step proliferate triggers. The deck aims to establish an unassailable board position by Turn 6 using counter doublers like Doubling Season and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, which allow planeswalkers to activate powerful ultimate abilities the turn they enter the battlefield. While the deck possesses immense late-game inevitability and card advantage, its reactive interaction is concentrated at sorcery speed on planeswalker loyalty activations. Consequently, it relies on premier phasing protection such as Clever Concealment and Ripples of Potential to preserve its planeswalker fortress against board wipes before closing out the game with overwhelming value, poison counters, and combat damage by Turn 8.
