Deck overview

Queza, Augur of Agonies leads an Esper synergy deck that blends card-draw triggers, Lord of the Rings Ring-bearer mechanics, and life-drain combo finishes. The deck develops steadily across the early turns, establishing on-curve mana fixing before resolving Queza by Turn 4 to convert every draw into life disparity. Midgame value engines such as The One Ring, Call of the Ring, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse steadily drain opponents while building massive board presence through a 9-card Nazgûl package. The primary win condition is a two-card infinite draw-drain loop between Queza and Drogskol Reaver, which eliminates the table in a single turn. Backup strategies include the standalone Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond infinite combo and scaling combat pressure from deathtouch Wraiths. Defensive pieces like Propaganda and Teferi's Protection keep the deck stable until lethal lines resolve.
