Deck overview

This is an Izzet spells-matter token aggro deck helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, who creates a scaling flying token each combat when you have cast an instant or sorcery that turn. The strategy is to chain cheap spells, copy them for extra value, and build a wide army of Elemental tokens that eventually overwhelm opponents. Key enablers include Rionya, Fire Dancer for mass copies of a creature, Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer to consolidate token types, and Surge to Victory for a lethal pump spell. The deck lacks fast infinite combos and instead aims to grind out value through repeated token generation and copy effects, then close the game in two to three combat steps. Secondary payoffs like Renegade Bull and Furygale Flocking provide additional burst potential.
